“ No matter what I will write about this place it's impossible to describe with words the colours, the smells and the feelings of this place! Food is absolutely delicious with amazing local home made dishes! This is a family operated business and the hole atmosphere is just unbeatable! Service is excellent and there is every day special dishes carefully prepared with local high quality ingredients. Local goat slowly cooked in the traditional wooden oven is absolutely delicious! There is a small hole at the wall in the courtyard that you can feel the heat that raises from the volcano! Triantafilos is always helpful to guide you through the menu. Every single dish is an explosion of taste and senses! This food is impossible to find even in the most expensive restaurants. Locals gather every night and enjoy along with the visitors the food and very often the night closes with dancing! This is a must visit point if you are in Nisiros island. Highly recommended! ”

“ Very good tavern in a very special place. Only 15 people are living in the village and this tavern was the only thing open but what a great place! The owner is a wonderful and kind person, the food was absolutely gorgeous (my favorite: Aubergine from the oven) and the atmosphere is just one of a kind. Beautiful place, beautiful people and delicious food. The best place at to end a trip to the volcano and worth the visit for sure. ”
“ Delicious food and a cozy setup right in the heart of Emporeios, nestled in a charming little square. The staff are friendly and welcoming. In other words, excellent! ”
“ Emporio is a must see village in order understand and feel this island. Giannis in Apyrià is so kind and so helpful! His food is just amazing, while everything you are going to eat is made only by them! His staff so sweet and lovely. Ask them to enter the church just in front of the restaurant and you will remember this tip. Arrange with Giannis to eat local meat "katsikaki". Year, fir me best food in Nisyros ”
“ The restaurant is located in a beautiful setting. The food was great and the prices cheap. The service was a little incoherent; some of the servers were forgetting parts of our order and just seemed like they didn't pay much attention. Still would highly recommend, but also call to make a reservation if on a high season! ”
“ Our experience at Apyria in Emporios was simply delightful. This charming green tavern offered not only incredible food but also a fantastic atmosphere that left us in awe. The flavors were exceptional. But what really added to the fun was meeting Triantafyllos, the tavern's unofficial "mascot." He made our visit feel like catching up with an old friend. ”
“ One of the best places that you can eat authentic Greek food to be honest. Our guide took us there and it was super nice. The place is very small but the atmosphere is very beautiful and chill. Food is very fresh and delicious and it's far from touristy places. Highly recommend. ”
